Not our first GiRodeo…

The GiRodeo is back for October 2023, promising another action-packed long weekend of epic gravel riding, beautiful custom bikes, pro rider special guests and so much more. This Girona remix of ENVE’s flagship summer festival is an end-of-summer celebration not to be missed.

 
 

ENVE Grodeo + The Service Course Girona = GiRodeo 23

This is the second edition of our now-traditional end of season party, hosted in collaboration with our good friends from over the pond, inspired by both ENVE’s flagship summer festival the Grodeo [Gravel Rodeo] and the long standing Gravel Bonanza series created by The Service Course Girona. Post-ride, we’re hosting a pizza party loaded with special guests and good vibes, with a recovery coffee spin the morning after the night before. Not only will we showcase some of the best frame builders and cycling brands on the planet but you will also have the chance to meet and ride with the talented and lovely folks that make them so special.

 
 

GiRodeo 23 - Key Details

  • Event sign on: Friday 27th October 2023 (any time from 9am-6pm)

  • Event date: Saturday 28th October 2023

  • Time: meet up 8am, briefings and roll out from 8.30am

  • Start and finish: The Service Course Girona

  • Two route options:

    • Epic Loop: approx 144km + 2,700m gravel route. Estimated 7 hours ride time. This is a beast and is not to be taken lightly.

    • Shortcut Loop: approx 95km + 1,500m gravel route. Estimated 5 hours ride time. For those with less experience, or keen to ride easy. But still a tough day on the bike.

  • Post-ride Pizza Party: join us at The Service Course Girona 6pm-10pm for pizza, beers, music, special guests and more

  • We will have an eclectic mix of world-class custom builds proudly on display throughout

  • Sunday Salida Recovery Spin: Sunday 29th October 2023, with coffee on the house, all welcome

  • Full event details including the routes and confirmed timeline will be sent to participants in early October 

  • Please note: the above is subject to change, but gives a good indication of what to expect

  • Please note: all of the above has limited availability, on a first come first served basis

The GiRodeo Spirit

  • Be kind, be respectful, have fun

  • There are no prizes for finishing first - this is a fun adventure into the wild to be savoured and not rushed

  • Riders of all abilities are more than welcome and there will be plenty of event support crew out there on the day

  • Whilst there will be lots of friendly helpers around, please see this as a self sufficient, unsupported ride, carrying everything you might need

  • It’s important to note just how challenging the GiRodeo “Epic Loop” is - we strongly recommend that this is not the first time you attempt to ride a gravel route of this magnitude

  • In terms of bikes, we suggest a gravel bike with minimum 40mm tyres

  • Girona old town is well connected via Girona and Barcelona Airports, with a fast train from Barcelona city centre if needed
