Nova Eroica–A trip to remember

What a trip! Italy never disappoints and our inaugural trip to Tuscany for the Nova Eroica was no exception. We rode from Florence to Asciano and spent a few days in the area enjoying the roads, food and views before taking on the Nova Eroica event on our last day. Riding on the white roads of Tuscany is a unique experience–hard packed gravel and short but steep accents and descents keep things exciting, and nothing looks better than that fine layer of dust left behind on your frame. The Nova Eroica, an event with 4 timed dirt sections, gave us all a chance to let our competitive sides out to play and made those post-race beers and home-baked pizzas taste oh so good.
