Mosaic Cycles is a family operated small batch builder specializing in creating bespoke titanium frames to the exact specifications of each rider, resulting in exquisite one-of-a-kind builds.

Titanium is their material of choice thanks to its versatility. Using oversized butted tubing and modern design elements allows for a full spectrum of ride options that can rival the performance of top-shelf carbon or create the compliant feel of an all-day endurance frame. Meanwhile, Mosaic’s steel frames utilise modern tubing to achieve a timeless ride quality without compromise in weight. Both are light and lively, but most importantly they are forever materials.

Raw titanium is a beautiful sight but the Mosaic team also loves a lick of paint, owning and operating their own in-house paint shop, enabling them to dream up, test, and execute some of the highest quality finish work you’ll find on a bicycle.

The cherry on the cake is that whilst small, they are also efficient. Mosaic’s experienced team guarantees delivery of all new frames in just a few weeks - allowing us to deliver complete custom builds in approximately eight weeks, and stock frames in approximately four, all with the highest standards of precision, attention to detail and high caliber finish for every bike that leaves the workshop.

 

ROAD FRAMES

RT-1 & RT-1d

The RT-1 and RT-1d are Mosaic’s flagship titanium road bikes, custom-built for every rider every step of the way from geometry, to configuration and finishwork. A particular blend of oversized internally double butted and thin-walled straight gauge tubes make for an incredibly responsive and quick feeling bike, that retains the ride quality that titanium frames are known and keeps the weight as low as possible. Full custom geometry is complemented by a choice of Mosaic finishwork.

RS-1

The Mosaic RS-1 is a performance bred piece of equipment that knows no limits, it is the pinnacle of what Mosaic has to offer in a steel bike.  A particular blend of oversized butted tubes creates responsive handling, complemented by the incredible ride quality that steel frames are known for.  As the flagship steel road model, the RS-1 is available in a variety of configurations of road components and specifications including caliper, disc, eTap, Di2 and more. Full custom geometry is complemented by paint by Spectrum Paint & Powderworks.

GRAVEL FRAMES

GT-1 Allroad

On the spectrum of gravel bikes, the GT-1 is closer to a road bike than an adventure bike. The geometry lands between traditional road and gravel frame specs with short chainstays, a steep head angle, oversized head tube, and carbon fork. This provides a snappy feel on the road while low bottom brackets, a slightly longer wheelbase, and tire size make for stable and fun off-road handling. Every GT-1 frame is built using a rider specific internally butted tubeset. GT-1 45

Gravel 45 is Mosaic’s response to the increase in popularity of events in the US like Unbound Gravel, Mid-South Gravel, Lost and Found, and the desire to explore even further off the beaten path. The terrain at these events is extremely demanding and unforgiving on both the rider and their equipment, making the bike, tire, wheel, and component choice absolutely crucial to completing the route. For riders and racers taking a Mosaic to the Flint Hills of Kansas for example, we needed to create a frame with more tire clearance, a longer wheelbase, and the kind of geometry that's comfortable to ride all day long on the roughest, and longest routes imaginable. Every GT-1 frame is built using a rider specific internally butted tubeset and custom geometry drawn up based on individual bike fit information.
